New Colorways Of The Nike Air VaporMax & VaporMax Plus Are Coming Soon

Sharing is caring!

Nike’s Air Max line dates back to 1987 when the Air Max 1 was introduced. After 31 years, Nike continues to whip up brand new Air Max models. Back in March 2016, Nike unveiled the futuristic Air VaporMax, which was equipped with Air units in the form of standalone outsoles. The VaporMax was more flexible and lighter, due to the lack of bulky, traditional foam midsoles. In commemoration of Air Max Day 2017, Nike introduced the brand new Air VaporMax Plus, a hybrid rendition that had uppers resembling those of the Air Max Plus. By the end of last year, Nike had also unveiled the Air VaporMax 2.0.

Air VaporMax-insertionSneakerheads might recall the Air VaporMax Plus “Triple White” that made its retail debut last month on February 28th at a price of $190. The latest colorway of the model appears to be far more vibrant, having been dubbed “Reverse Sunset.” The uppers of this hybrid model are made up of neoprene material, dressed up in a combination of Orange, White and Yellow, while sporting a gradient look. Its branding, heels, laces, midsoles and overlays are also plain White. It is also equipped with translucent VaporMax soles. This Air VaporMax Plus “Reverse Sunset” happens to have been designed exclusively for women.

The Air VaporMax 2.0 was first seen back in December 2017. Its uppers resemble those of the original VaporMax, made up entirely of Flyknit material, featuring the same Flywire cables, and paired with the signature VaporMax soles. It was noted that the size of the Nike “Swoosh” logo on the sides of the VaporMax 2.0 had been reduced. The latest colorway of the VaporMax 2.0 is nearly all-Black, except for the branding on the tongues and the Nike “Swoosh” logos, which are covered in White. Adding the finishing touch, its VaporMax soles are translucent.
